Facilitator Bios

Teacher and Facilitator:  Juli Marks, MA 

Has over 10 years experience teaching and providing art therapy to both children and adults.  For the past three years, Juli has been having fun teaching art to elementary school students.




Facilitator, marketing/PR:   Paige Torgrimson, MLS

Has over 15 years experience creating and facilitating art and literature-based programs for children and young adults.

She is one half of “Team Torgrimson” that designed and manages the website.





Facilitator, marketing/PR:   Brett Torgrimson

Has over 7 years experience creating and facilitating Chinese heritage  based programs for children.  He served on the board of The Friendship Club – an off-shoot group of the international organization, Families with Children from China (FCC) – and created the BaBa Group which organized outings for fathers and their children in Fort Collins, CO.

He is the other half of “Team Torgrimson” that designed and manages the web site.



Facilitator:  Kwong Chew

Kwong grew up in Singapore and is fluent in  Mandarin, Cantonese, Fujian, and Malay.  Before moving to the US, he back-packed throughout South East Asia, Burma, Nepal, India, Hong Kong, and China.

Kwong spent many years serving on the board at Briar Patch and on his children’s school foundation board.  He is actively involved in groups that build cultural bridges with meaningful  projects like Boys To Men, Sierra Family Health Services, Chamber affairs, and the Xiao Mao Culture Club.
